Colorado Gov. Polis Mass-Pardon

News from

Simply stated, yes, it is about time and more to come.  Governor Polis has stated a mass-pardon of 2,732 convictions of low-level marijuana possession is underway.  This was accomplished based on a bill passed earlier in the year, and now with an Executive Order, the Governor has taken this action.

NevadaMy420Network, one of our sister websites, reported earlier in the month the Governor in Nevada, followed a similar action with pardons near 15,000 across the state.

Basically, states that have decriminalized and permit recreational marijuana use beyond just medical are in the ever-slow process of setting the correct course of action by pardoning these convictions since the laws have changed.

Great news!  But the wheels do turn slow, don’t they?
